Fort William is a Scottish town located at the head of Loch Linnhe. A fort was built here by General Monck, then rebuilt in 1690 and named Fort William. A touring destination on the Best Scottish Tours, the town is in the shadow of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain.
