Best Scottish Tours of Kelso. On 8th May 1787, during his Border tour, Robert Burns visited Kelso and recorded in his Journal: "Breakfast at Kelso; charming situation of Kelso; fine bridges over Tweed; enchanting views and prospects on both sides of the river, particularly the Scotch side."
